You're a 90s kid if:
You can finish this - Milk, milk, lemonade...
You remember watching: 'Hey! Arnold', 'Round the Twist', 'Ren and Stimpy', 'AAAAAAAH Real Monsters!', 'Rocko's Modern Life', 'Aggro's Cartoon Connection', 'Play School' with Monica, 'Sesame Street' for an hour twice a day - And you'd remember when it was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons.
You remember reading 'Goosebumps' and 'The Baby-Sitters Club'.
You said 'NOT' after (almost) every sentence... NOT!
When everything was settled by: Scissors, Paper, Rock - There's a dunny on the hill would you like to come... - Nutcracker - Eeny, Meany, Miney, Mo.
When you played Tiggy, Stuck in the Mud, Hide and Seek, Sardines, Murder in the Dark and Catch and Kiss until your legs grew numb.
You used to listen to the radio all day long just to record your FAVOURITE song of ALL time.
Tazos owned chip packets.
Captain Planet - he's a hero.
You remember Sonic Hedgehog and Sega, and practically witnessed the birth of Super Mario.
Yo-yos were cool.
You remember the Where's Wally books.
You ate Warheads and Ghost Drops.
You remember Push Pops and Lucky Dips - and YoGo Gorilla.
Home-made birthday cards were cool. Especially the ones where you'd cut a mouth so into it so it opened and a tongue popped out.
You made those little paper fortune things and then predicted your life with them.
Tamagotchis were banned from school because they were so popular.
Furby.
Baby Born.
You didn't always have a computer and it was cool to have the Internet - and Windows 95 was the best!
"Emo" didn't exist.
You knew Michael Jordan was the best basketballer of all-time even though we had no idea who he played for.
Mattel's Barbie and Ken owned the shelves.
'World 4 Kids' came before 'Toys R Us'.
Play dough was the coolest stuff invented.
You understand when I say 'Cheez TV'.
Troll Dolls were cool and not just weird.
You listened to cassettes - and had no idea what a CD was.
Two words - Spice Girls.
The original Pokemon with Ash, Misty and Brock - before those try hards at the Yu-Gi-Oh production plant.
You know the 'Macarena' off by heart.
"Talk to the hand!"... enough said.
You went to McDonald's to play in the playground - and Happy Meals only cost $2.95.
When light up sneakers were cool.
When you rented VHS, not DVDs.
When petrol was 85 cents and Paddle-Pops were 75 cents.
Caller ID was new and mobiles were only for important people.
Before the MySpace frenzy... before text messaging... before iPods... before PlayStation 2 or X-Box... before you had an email address...
Way back...
Before we realised all this would eventually disappear...Who would have thought we'd miss the 90s so much?!
